Adopt a Pig is a program designed to help children and their families cope as they face their greatest challenge, fighting cancer. Proceeds benefit a variety of support services for patients and their families.
The mission and goals of the Adopt a Pig program are simple: to provide coping mechanisms to children fighting cancer and their families. The founders of this program, experienced these cancer treatments firsthand and understand it is neither a simple nor a short process. By providing support to children and families, they hope to ease some of the struggles and pains associated with this emotional and physical battle.
Adopt a Pig is a 501 (c)(3) public charity.

RNS provides the finest facilities and equipment for the diagnosis and treatment of cancer in the South Jersey region. When the need for more sophisticated facilities for the treatment of heart disease became a medical priority, RNS expanded its mission and became the Ruth Newman Shapiro Cancer and Heart Fund in order to serve the best interests of the residents of Southeastern New Jersey. For the past few years Bernie Robbins has joined with Baume and Mercier to Co-Sponsor the RNS Ball held in Atlantic City.
